A single-vehicle traffic collision on Friday evening in Temple resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Saul Lobo, a resident of Killeen.
The accident took place around 6:12 p.m. near the intersection of S. General Bruce Drive and Charter Oak Drive. According to the initial investigation by Temple police, Lobo was traveling southbound on the access road.
He was reportedly heading toward the Interstate 35 on-ramp when his motorcycle veered to the right. The vehicle then struck a curb, causing Lobo to fall onto the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
