A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Jurupa Valley in the early hours of Sunday, March 15, 2026. The incident occurred just before 2:25 a.m. near the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Campbell Street. Deputies arriving at the scene discovered the victim lying in the roadway with severe injuries, and the victim was pronounced deceased at the location.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released to the public. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team has taken over the investigation into the cause of the collision. It remains unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were contributing factors.
