His death occurred while he was on the roof of Graves Memorial Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. Deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Kirby unresponsive near air conditioning units.
The church community and Kirby's family have shared their grief and shock, remembering him as a beloved member and a skilled professional. Brian Kirby is survived by his parents, wife Jennifer, and two daughters. A celebration of life service was planned for April 22.
