Tragic Flight Crash Claims Two Lives in Essex Field

Police have initiated a criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two young men in an experience flight crash. The incident occurred on June 30 when a two-seat Cessna light aircraft crashed in a field in High Ongar, Essex.
The flight, which was scheduled for 30 minutes, tragically ended with the loss of both occupants. Vamshi Mandala, a 25-year-old Indian student, had chartered the aircraft as a celebration of completing his university education. He was accompanied by the pilot, 26-year-old Dylan Patel.
The Essex Coroner's Court was informed that both Mandala and Patel sustained fatal multiple injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The senior coroner for Essex described the event as a 'real tragedy' and 'truly disturbing'. Families of both deceased men attended the remote inquest hearing.
