Elderly Man Dies in Co Louth Road Collision

A man in his 80s tragically lost his life following a road traffic collision in Ardee, County Louth. The incident involved a single vehicle and occurred on the N33 at Cappocksgreen on Thursday afternoon, just after 3 PM. Emergency services, including gardaí and ambulance personnel, attended the scene. The driver of the car was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
