Four Rescued as Boat Fire Sinks Off Dublin Coast

A swift rescue operation successfully saved four adults when their pleasure craft caught fire and sank near Dun Laoghaire. The incident occurred on Saturday, approximately 1.5 miles northeast of the coast.
The Coast Guard received the distress call around 3:45 PM. A lifeboat from Dun Laoghaire RNLI arrived swiftly on the scene within minutes.
Crews evacuated all four adults safely to shore, where they were met by HSE and Fire Service personnel. The fire was reported extinguished by 5:15 PM, after which the vessel sank.
Authorities including the police, Dublin Port tug, and Dublin Fire Brigade also attended the scene to manage the situation.
