In a remarkable rescue operation on Sunday, Iredell County emergency crews utilized a drone to save a bull trapped in a ravine. The animal had previously escaped from a trailer close to Statesville before plummeting into the steep, vegetation-choked gorge.
The ravine's dense kudzu growth made direct access for rescue teams extremely challenging. However, drone operators skillfully employed their equipment to gently guide the bull out from the entangling vines.
