Firefighters successfully rescued a driver who was trapped for nearly two hours in the cab of a flatbed truck following a collision with a building. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in Pacific Palisades at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Chautauqua Boulevard.
Crews worked diligently to extricate the driver, the truck's only occupant, who was then taken to a hospital. Urban Search and Rescue teams also responded to the scene. Thankfully, no individuals were inside the building at the time of the impact.
