Seven Hurt as Tourist Van Loses Control on Sogathur Highway

Seven individuals, including a 15-year-old boy, sustained injuries on Saturday morning when a tourist van carrying devotees lost control. The van, en route back to Bagur village in Krishnagiri district, crashed into the median and overturned on the Sogathur highway.
The vehicle was transporting 25 devotees who had visited the Om Shakti Temple in Melmaruvathur and the Palani Murugan Temple. The driver, identified as V Mathesh, reportedly lost control of the van during the journey.
Emergency services responded promptly, and the injured were admitted to Dharmapuri Government Medical College and Hospital. Their conditions are reported as stable. Police have registered a case and initiated an inquiry into the incident.
