Deadly Crash on Ardee Road in Ireland Leaves Casualties

On Saturday, November 11th, 2025, a tragic road collision occurred in County Louth, Ireland, resulting in an unconfirmed number of fatalities. The incident, which took place shortly after 9 PM local time, involved two vehicles on the L3168 Ardee Road in the townland of Gibstown, Dundalk.
Gardaí (Irish police) have confirmed that the vehicles and bodies of the deceased individuals remain at the scene as of November 16th, 2025. Additionally, a number of people have been taken to the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for medical treatment.
The Ardee Road, between the N52 and the R171, has been closed by the Gardaí to allow for a technical examination by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local traffic diversions have been put in place as the investigation continues.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward and provide any information that could assist with the ongoing inquiry.
