On November 10, 2025, a devastating blast ripped through a car near the iconic Red Fort in New Delhi, India, leaving 10 people dead and 30 others injured. According to the initial medical reports, the victims sustained a range of gruesome injuries, including lacerated wounds, partial and complete burns, as well as crush injuries to the scalp.
While the postmortem examination reports of the deceased are still awaited, the findings are part of the medical reports of both the dead and the injured, sources in the police have revealed. "We have identified 10 people who have died. While three body parts are yet to be identified, 30 people have sustained injuries in the blast... one of them is on ventilator support," a senior police officer stated.
The impact of the blast was so severe that some victims were flung into the air, suffering damage to their scalp and back, which ultimately led to their deaths. Others were also charred beyond recognition. Many of the injured have sustained contusions on their limbs, indicating damage to blood vessels due to the direct impact, as well as lateral collateral region (LCR) wounds on their lower back and limbs.
