In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, eastern Cuba is experiencing a significant increase in viral infections, including chikungunya and dengue. The resurgence of mosquito-borne illnesses like chikungunya, dengue, oropouche, and zika has become a major concern, particularly in areas affected by Melissa.
