CRPF Jawan's Home Visit Ends in Tragedy on Highway

A routine visit home ended in a fatal accident for a 34-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) employee on the Pune-Solapur highway. Mahadev Nazirkar, stationed in Mumbai, had traveled to his village in Indapur taluka to see his parents.
Early Monday morning, Nazirkar alighted from his bus near his village, Maradewadi, in Indapur taluka. His father was waiting on the opposite side of the highway. Tragically, while crossing the road, Nazirkar was hit by a passing vehicle.
He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene without stopping. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and the vehicle.
