Cow Crushes Sleeping Man to Death

A man in southeastern Brazil lost his life in a highly unusual accident when a cow fell through his roof and onto his bed. The 45-year-old victim was sleeping when the one-tonne animal, which had strayed from a local farm, stepped on the home's asbestos roof, causing it to collapse. The cow fell approximately eight feet onto the couple's bed.

Despite initially appearing to be in stable condition with a broken leg, the man later died in the hospital. Relatives suggested that the delay in medical attention may have contributed to his death from internal bleeding. Authorities have opened an investigation into the incident, which marks the third such event in the region in three years, though no other fatalities occurred.

The cow itself remained unharmed. The area, known for its hilly terrain and cattle farming, has seen similar incidents where residents, including children, have had miraculous escapes. This tragic event highlights the unpredictable nature of animal-related accidents.
