Fatal Cornwall Taxi Crash: Police Seek Witnesses

A fatal road traffic collision occurred in Cornwall on February 24th, resulting in the death of a taxi passenger. The incident took place at approximately 16:40 GMT at the junction of Towednack Road and Halsetown Road in St Ives.
The collision involved a black VW Sharan private hire taxi and a black VW Polo. Emergency services transported the 47-year-old female passenger to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Devon and Cornwall Police are now appealing for witnesses who have not yet come forward. They are particularly interested in anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage from the vicinity around the time of the crash.
