Coffee Maker Burn Risk: Recall Alert!

Consumer safety officials have issued an urgent recall for about 17,600 Kidisle hot and iced coffee machines, specifically the KC101B model. These single-serve machines, sold online between June 2024 and April 2026, are being recalled because a clogged tube can cause hot liquid or steam to escape unexpectedly during brewing. This defect has led to 107 reported incidents, resulting in at least 27 injuries, including first and second-degree burns requiring medical attention. Consumers who purchased these machines are strongly advised to cease using them immediately. To receive a full refund, customers must render their machine inoperable by unplugging it and cutting the power cord, then submitting a photo of the modified appliance to Kidisle. This recall is part of a series of recent safety warnings from consumer protection agencies.
