The second space heater fire erupted early Monday morning near Outhwaite Avenue. This incident involved a resident using space heaters plugged into power strips and extension cords, which subsequently overheated and ignited nearby items. While no injuries were reported in this case, the resident suffered an estimated $2,000 in losses.
