Tragedy struck on Saturday morning when two brothers, Dr. Sanjay Gangele, 59, and Sudhir Gangele, 61, from Damoh, lost their lives in a severe SUV accident. The crash occurred near Pauri village in Maihar district around 3 am.
The brothers were on their return journey from Gaya, having completed religious rituals. Their SUV collided with a road divider, resulting in the fatal incident.
While the driver, Raja Raikwar, who was in the front seat, sustained injuries, he is reported to be out of danger. The deployment of airbags in the vehicle is credited with saving his life. However, the Gangele brothers, seated in the rear, tragically did not survive the impact.
