A traffic accident involving a double-decker bus and a van occurred on Coventry Road in Small Heath, Birmingham, on Monday evening. The collision happened at approximately 18:00 GMT and led to three individuals sustaining injuries. The driver of the double-decker bus suffered potentially serious injuries and received hospital treatment.
Two passengers traveling on the bus, a man and a woman, were also attended to by ambulance staff. They were subsequently transported to the hospital for further precautionary examinations following the crash. Approximately 30 passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.
Other individuals involved in the accident, including the remaining bus passengers and occupants of the van, did not sustain any injuries. The incident was responded to by emergency services.
