Two passengers traveling on the bus, a man and a woman, were also attended to by ambulance staff. They were subsequently transported to the hospital for further precautionary examinations following the crash. Approximately 30 passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.

Other individuals involved in the accident, including the remaining bus passengers and occupants of the van, did not sustain any injuries. The incident was responded to by emergency services.
