- Police are investigating the incident, including a possible argument.

A 23-year-old software engineer tragically lost her life after falling from the seventh floor of a private co-living PG in Bengaluru's Whitefield. The incident also left a 30-year-old man with serious injuries. Identified as Janani, a native of Puducherry and employed as a software engineer, she had been residing in the PG since January.
The injured man, Manichavelu, also from Puducherry and employed in the logistics sector, is currently undergoing treatment. Initial reports indicate that an argument occurred between Janani and Manichavelu shortly before the fall. It is suspected that Janani moved towards the building's edge and, in the process, may have pulled Manichavelu with her.
Janani was pronounced dead at the scene. Manichavelu, however, reportedly survived the significant fall due to landing on tree branches before hitting the ground. He was promptly taken to a private hospital for urgent medical care. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the exact cause of the incident, including the nature of the argument that preceded the fall.
