A shocking tragedy unfolded in Byraveshwaranagar, West Bengaluru, when an 11-month-old boy, Agasthya, drowned in a water bucket at his home. The incident occurred while his mother, 29-year-old software professional Pratibha Wali, had briefly stepped away. Preliminary police findings suggest Agasthya may have accidentally fallen into the bucket.
Upon discovering her son unresponsive, Pratibha attempted CPR and searched online for revival methods, but to no avail. Investigators revealed her internet history indicated subsequent searches related to suicide. She reportedly died by suicide shortly after her son's death, leaving a note expressing profound guilt.
