Army Officer Dies Suddenly While Swimming in Belagavi

An Indian Army officer tragically passed away on Sunday in Belagavi. Lieutenant Amit Singh, aged 30 and hailing from Haryana, was undergoing training at the MLIRC Commando Wing when he collapsed while swimming.
The incident occurred at the Command Wing premises in Nanawadi. Sources indicate a suspected heart attack as the cause of his sudden demise. A lifeguard at the scene administered first aid and attempted resuscitation.
Despite these immediate efforts, Lieutenant Singh was transported by ambulance to BIMS Hospital. Sadly, he passed away en route to the medical facility. The Tilakwadi police have registered the incident and are conducting an ongoing investigation. The officer's body has been taken for an autopsy.
