Arizona Mansion Ablaze: Millions Gone in Smoke
22 Jan
Summary
- A seven-bed, seven-bath Arizona home burned down Tuesday night.
- The opulent mansion was purchased for $1.95 million last April.
- Owner and dog escaped unharmed, but the home suffered extensive damage.

A luxurious seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Gold Canyon, Arizona, was reduced to rubble Tuesday night after a devastating fire. The property, acquired just last April for $1.95 million, was engulfed in flames around 6:32 pm, according to Superstition Fire and Medical.
Firefighters arrived to find the blaze spreading through both floors. Due to the intensity of the fire and concerns about the home's structural integrity, crews transitioned to a defensive attack. This decision proved critical, as a significant portion of the roof and walls collapsed shortly after.
The homeowner and their dog successfully evacuated the burning structure. While the owner experienced smoke inhalation and minor injuries, they declined hospitalization. The dog was unharmed.
