An extensive response is underway, involving five firefighting aircraft, ten helicopters, more than 160 fire engines, and approximately 1,000 personnel. This crisis follows a period of exceptionally hot summers across Europe, marked by heatwaves, droughts, and subsequent wildfires in various countries.
