An Air India Airbus A350 operating as flight AI101 was grounded on Thursday after its right engine ingested a baggage container while taxiing at Delhi airport amid dense fog. The aircraft had previously returned to Delhi due to airspace closures impacting its route.

In a separate incident on the same day, an Air India Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, flight AI 2380, bound for Singapore, made a precautionary return to Delhi after a fire warning related to its Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) activated mid-flight. The flight departed for Singapore on an alternate aircraft after ground teams assisted passengers.
