Parents' First Flight Becomes Their Last

Exactly one year ago, less than a minute after takeoff, an aircraft crashed into a hostel complex in Ahmedabad, marking a devastating anniversary that continues to haunt families. The tragedy claimed the lives of Rajnikant and Pushpaben Darji, an elderly couple from Kheda, whose first journey was meant to be a celebratory flight to the UK to join their son, a successful doctor.

The couple had dedicated their lives to their son's medical education. Ironically, their son, who had achieved significant success in the UK, had meticulously arranged this maiden flight for his parents to live with him. Their journey, tragically, ended in an inferno on the concrete grounds of Ahmedabad, a site family members recently revisited to offer prayers.
