A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a collision with a car on the A10 near Landbeach, Cambridgeshire. The incident took place around 09:55 BST on Saturday, April 25th. The 65-year-old rider from Welwyn Garden City was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and is reported to be in a stable condition.
The driver of the car, a 63-year-old man from Cambridge, was arrested at the scene. He was taken into custody on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention. Subsequently, he was released on bail. The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries during the crash.
Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for witnesses and requesting any relevant dashcam footage. Those with information are urged to contact the force, quoting Operation Whitebeam or incident 125 of April 25th.
