In Visakhapatnam, two young contract employees died when a tipper truck hit their scooter from behind at Kurmannapalem. They were reportedly heading to their hometown for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The third incident in Anakapalle district saw two workers perish when their tractor overturned near Makavaram while en route to a stone crushing quarry.
Authorities have issued an appeal to motorists to adhere to traffic rules to ensure road safety, particularly as many people are traveling to their hometowns for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
