Six individuals tragically lost their lives on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, after being struck by a speeding tanker. The bus, en route from Delhi to Kanpur Dehat, had briefly stopped to allow passengers a comfort break.
As passengers disembarked and stood by the roadside, a fast-moving DCM tanker collided with them, resulting in the immediate deaths of six people and critically injuring one.
Among the victims, four were identified as belonging to the same family. Police and district officials promptly arrived at the scene to manage rescue operations and initiate an investigation.
