An early morning bus accident on Sunday resulted in injuries to around 32 passengers. The incident occurred around 3:30 am on National Highway 52 near Tukrana Jod in Shajapur district when a sleeper bus reportedly lost control and crashed into a road divider.
The bus, operated by Patidar Travels, was en route from Guna to Indore. The severe collision caused significant damage to the front of the vehicle. Rescue teams, including Dial-112 and Highway-1033 personnel, arrived promptly to assist.
The bus driver was trapped inside and required considerable effort to be freed. Both the driver and the cleaner sustained serious injuries and were initially treated at the Shajapur district hospital before being transferred to Indore for further medical attention.
Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the driver losing control of the bus. The circumstances leading to the accident remain unclear at this time.
