Factory Deaths: Toxic Gas Kills Three Workers

Tragedy struck Balotra's industrial area on Friday when three workers succumbed to toxic gas exposure. The incident occurred at Lalji Wala Mills during the cleaning of a sludge tank.
The victims, identified as Gumanaram (25), Vishambhar Tiwari (54), and Shravan (32), all residents of Balotra, were overcome by toxic fumes inside the tank. Other workers discovered them unresponsive and immediately transported them to Government Nahata Hospital.
Doctors at the hospital confirmed the deaths of all three individuals upon their arrival. The deceased's families were informed, and local authorities, including the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), visited the hospital.
Initial findings suggest potential negligence by the factory management, as the workers were reportedly not provided with essential safety gear before entering the hazardous tank. The police have secured the bodies for post-mortem examination and are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
