The collision happened around 10 am as Ghule and Pandav were riding their moped towards Shirdi. The truck, traveling in the opposite direction, attempted to avoid a head-on collision by swerving. Unfortunately, the moped was caught under the rear wheels of the truck.
Ghule died at the scene, while Pandav sustained critical injuries. Despite receiving initial treatment, she later succumbed to her injuries while undergoing care at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The impact also caused the truck to overturn, tragically trapping and killing its driver.
