Her uncle shared that Layla currently cannot speak, sit, or eat independently, relying on tubes for nourishment and fluids. The family has been by her side continuously, providing support through her ongoing medical treatments and numerous upcoming operations. This traumatic ordeal has placed immense stress on her loved ones.
To ease the financial burden of travel, accommodation, and future home adaptations for Layla's return, the family has initiated a fundraiser. Layla is anticipated to require at least six more months of hospital care, underscoring the critical need for community support during her extensive recovery journey.
