An 11-year-old boy has tragically passed away following a collision while riding his e-scooter. The incident took place on Mandurah Terrace, near Stewart Street, around 5:10 PM on Monday. Emergency services responded to reports of an e-scooter colliding with a blue Mazda station wagon.
The young rider sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Peel Health Campus. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced deceased. The 46-year-old driver of the Mazda stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police as they investigate the circumstances of the crash.
