Toddler Bites Cobra to Death with Bare Teeth in Shocking Encounter

On Friday afternoon, a remarkable incident unfolded in Bankatwa village, India, when a 2-year-old boy named Govinda Kumar bravely fought off and killed a deadly cobra with his bare teeth. Govinda was playing near his home when the snake suddenly struck, coiling itself tightly around the child's tiny hands.

Instead of panicking, the fearless toddler sank his teeth into the snake's flesh, biting it so hard that the cobra died on the spot. Govinda's grandmother, Mateshwari Devi, witnessed the jaw-dropping moment, saying, "When we saw the snake in the child's hand, everyone rushed towards him, but in the meantime, he already bit the snake, killing it on the spot."

The impact of the snakebite caused Govinda to faint immediately, but he was quickly rushed to the local primary health center and later referred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Bettiah. Doctors described the case as "highly unusual" and confirmed that the cobra died from the trauma inflicted by the child's powerful bite.

Fortunately, the venom's effect on Govinda was relatively mild, and he is now in stable condition, receiving continuous medication and observation from the medical team. "Timely treatment saved Govinda's life," the doctors said, praising the quick response that ensured the toddler's survival.
