On August 3rd, 2025, firefighters in Burbank, California responded to an unusual rescue call at the local Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. A young woman had become trapped inside one of the games, with her arm stuck in the plastic enclosure of the "Snow Day!" attraction.
Burbank Fire Department crews arrived at the scene just before 3 p.m. and spent around 20 minutes working to free the woman's hand. Fortunately, she was not injured during the incident. After the rescue, the young woman remained at the restaurant and "continued to enjoy an evening of fun with the family," according to a Chuck E. Cheese spokesperson.
The company stated that the "Snow Day!" game does not typically pose a risk, but the "young adult was playing one of the games intended for children and decided to stick their arm in a hole not intended for hands or arms." Despite the unusual circumstances, the incident was considered minor, and the woman was able to resume her visit to the popular family entertainment center.
