Fiery Collision Leaves Three Dead in Tragic Accident

On August 19th, 2025, a horrific accident occurred on a road in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, India. A collision between a dumper and a truck triggered an explosion, engulfing both vehicles in flames.
According to the police, the impact of the collision was so severe that it caused the cabin doors of the vehicles to become charred. The bodies of the victims were recovered after the fire was brought under control, which took nearly three hours. Both the dumper and the truck have since been removed from the site.
Locals reported that the drivers of the two vehicles and a cleaner were trapped inside their cabins when the fire spread rapidly. Despite efforts, the three men could not be rescued and were stuck for nearly half an hour, ultimately perishing in the blaze.
The victims have been identified as Pawan Yadav, the driver of the dumper, Mahipal, the driver of the truck, and Sumit, one of the cleaners. Another cleaner, Sonu, managed to jump out of the truck's window and escape, though he sustained injuries to his leg and was admitted to the district hospital.
The accident led to a traffic snarl, with vehicles stranded on both sides of the road. However, traffic movement was restored by around 6 am on August 20th, 2025.
