The victim, Paula Ricardson, was left lying motionless in the street as Jennings stormed off, threatening to burn down a stranger's house. Bystanders rushed to Ricardson's defense, and she was soon taken to the hospital with a fractured jaw and right eye socket, requiring surgery and leaving her with vision issues.
Jennings, who has a lengthy criminal record with 36 convictions for 64 offenses, including a previous domestic assault, pleaded guilty to causing bodily harm with intent. On August 14, 2022, he was sentenced to four years in prison, with an extended license period of three years, for the "cowardly attack."
