On August 20, 2025, police in North Yorkshire are continuing their search for Clifford Church, a 62-year-old man wanted in connection with a rape investigation and for breaching his probation conditions. Church was last seen in Leeds, where authorities believe he has been using buses and trains to travel around the city.
Detectives have released security camera stills and details about Church's distinctive tattoos in an effort to locate him. These include Newcastle United logos on his left arm, as well as tributes to the band UB40, a love heart, a cross near his wrist, and dotted lines across his left wrist and right arm. He also has a ship and web tattoo across his right wrist.
