Patna Mall Heist: Insiders Colluded with Criminals, Police Recover Loot

In a daring robbery last month, a Patna mall employee was targeted and robbed of ₹6.3 lakh in cash, his mobile phone, and scooter at gunpoint on July 23. However, the Patna police have now cracked the case, arresting 7 suspects, including 2 of the victim's own colleagues.
According to Patna senior superintendent of police Kartikeya K Sharma, the two colleagues were involved in the incident and provided information to the five other criminals who carried out the actual robbery. Of the five, four had prior criminal records. The police have also recovered the stolen scooter, a country-made pistol, and the entire ₹1.6 lakh in cash that was taken from the victim.
Investigations revealed that after the robbery, the stolen money was quickly deposited in a bank. The arrested suspects have been identified as Anshu Kumar, Chhotu Kumar, Ravish Kumar, Chandrashekhar Kumar Azad, Kislay Raj, Bajrangi Mahato, and Badal Kumar.
