Jodhpur Man Funded Deadly Showroom Attack, Arrested Suspects Reveal

In a recent development in the murder case of Sanjay Verma, the owner of the New Wear Well showroom, two of the accused have confessed to receiving funds from a Jodhpur-based man to pass on to the main shooters.

Parnjal Sharma and Anshuman Tiwari, who were arrested in Madhya Pradesh (MP), told the police during their remand that Vishnu Kharola from Jodhpur had handed them Rs 1.30 lakh to give to the shooters. The two suspects said they had handed over Rs 1.10 lakh to the shooters on their way to Ujjain, while the remaining Rs 20,000 was spent on other items and food.

The police revealed that the main shooters, known as Shakti and others, have fled to MP and are currently hiding in an undisclosed location. Vishnu Kharola, whose name came up during the investigation, is reportedly a partner of the Lawrence Bishnoi-led gang and is handling and managing things on his behalf.

The police produced Parnjal and Anshuman, who are from Lal Ghati in MP's Shajapur district, in court again on Saturday after the end of their two-day remand. The court has extended the remand by two more days, as the police continue their efforts to locate the whereabouts of the main shooters.
