On August 20, 2025, a 60-year-old man was brutally murdered in Karauli, Rajasthan. According to the police, the victim's 29-year-old wife, Kusum, conspired with her lover, Pintu Gurjar (30), to eliminate her husband, who was an obstacle to their relationship.
The case came to light on August 21, 2025, when the victim's grandson, Sachin, filed a missing complaint at the Balghat police station. Investigations revealed that Kusum had previously fed her husband sleeping pills and eloped with Pintu three times, only to be brought back by the family.
On the night of August 20, 2025, Kusum alerted Pintu and his associate, Shribhan, who were waiting outside with a car. She then persuaded her husband to step out of the house on the pretext of stomach pain. Pintu and Shribhan then overpowered the victim, strangling him with a towel. His body was then driven away and dumped in a stone-covered well near Bhidawali village.
