YouTuber Lied About Kids, Faces Arrest

YouTuber Chris Sails was apprehended by law enforcement on August 17th, a day after an incident where he allegedly misled officers about his children's safety. He reportedly told deputies from the Waller County Sheriff's Office that his kids had fallen into a body of water behind his home.

This false report prompted a significant response, including fire department vehicles, specialized boats, sonar equipment, and aerial drones. The search concluded when it was confirmed that the children were unharmed and with other family members. Sails was subsequently arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for knowingly making a false statement to law enforcement.
