This is not the first time Detwiler has made headlines for his antics with luxury cars. In August 2023, he posted a video showing his brand-new Ferrari catching fire after he drove it through a corn field. A rental van accompanying the Ferrari also caught fire, resulting in a loss of over $500,000.
