Brutal Assault Near Sector 53 Metro Leaves Youths Injured

Near the Sector 53 metro station on Golf Course Road, five young individuals were subjected to a violent assault. The attackers used iron rods, chased the victims, and even tried to run them over with a car. This aggressive incident also saw the vandalism of the victims' personal vehicles.
The assault began when two men on a motorcycle stopped near the youths. Shortly after, occupants from a Grand Vitara car arrived, questioning the group about the motorcyclists. When the youths denied knowledge, one assailant slapped one of the victims, escalating the situation into a physical attack.
More individuals joined in, surrounding the youths and striking them with iron rods. Some victims sustained injuries from the car as they tried to escape. The assailants also allegedly issued death threats and stole personal belongings from one of the vandalized cars.
Police were alerted by a local hospital where the injured sought initial treatment. Following their release, one of the victims formally lodged a complaint. A case has been registered, and authorities are pursuing leads to arrest the individuals responsible.
