A community was left in shock after a woman was accused of stealing thousands of dollars intended for Media Little League. The 57-year-old suspect, Robin Massing, faces charges including forgery and theft.
Authorities reported that three checks were placed in a mailbox in May 2025. Approximately nine months later, in February 2026, one of these checks was altered and deposited for $7,200.
A bank flagged the suspicious payment, leading the Little League to discover the altered signature and amount. Surveillance footage and Massing's prior history of similar offenses led investigators to identify her as a suspect.
The stolen funds were designated for essential items such as uniforms, equipment, and field maintenance. Media Little League is a prominent organization, having reached the Little League World Series in 2023.
As of September 4, 2026, investigators are still seeking information on Massing's whereabouts and urge the public to contact the Delaware County District Attorney's Office with any relevant details.
