Dakari Roy Brown, a 25-year-old dealer, has been sentenced to five years and seven months in prison for his role in a major drug operation. Operating the "Larry Line" between York and Huddersfield, Brown was involved in transporting thousands of pounds worth of crack cocaine and heroin.
He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, along with acquiring criminal property. His arrest occurred on September 10, 2026, following an investigation by North Yorkshire Police's Operation Sentry team. The "Larry Line" had been active from December 18, 2025.
During a search of Brown's residence, officers seized multiple mobile phones, including one dedicated to the drug network, SIM cards, cash, and suspected Class A drugs. He was also ordered to forfeit drug-dealing related items valued at £1,930.
North Yorkshire Police highlighted that county lines operations exploit vulnerable people, such as children and those with addiction issues, to conduct their business. The force affirmed its dedication to combating such criminal activities across its borders.
