Summary
- Woman released 10 years after fatally stabbing a bride in drug store.
- Found not criminally responsible due to untreated schizophrenia.
- Released after board deemed her no longer a public safety threat.

A Canadian woman, Rohinie Bisesar, who fatally stabbed Rosemarie Junor in a Toronto drug store in December 2015, is now set to walk free a decade later. The Ontario Review Board granted her an absolute discharge on June 3, stating she no longer poses a significant threat to public safety.
During her trial in 2018, Bisesar, now 51, was found not criminally responsible for the unprovoked stabbing due to untreated schizophrenia. She had believed she was following commands from an "entity." Bisesar was subsequently detained in a mental health hospital until late 2021, then moved to an outpatient facility.
The review board noted Bisesar's commitment to her recovery, including regular use of antipsychotic medications, which have effectively managed her condition for years. Her successful response to treatment and dedication to getting better have led to this decision, allowing her to be released from the board's jurisdiction.
