Pregnant Minor Murdered for Marriage Demand

In Gujarat's Kutch district, a tragic incident unfolded where a woman was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend and his associate. Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the crime.

The victim had been in a year-long relationship with the primary accused, Rajesh, and became pregnant while still a minor. After reaching adulthood, she reportedly pressured Rajesh to marry her.

Discussions between Rajesh and his friend Rahul allegedly led to a conspiracy. Rajesh then lured the woman to a meeting under the pretense of marriage, where he is accused of strangling her with Rahul's help.

Her body was reportedly weighted down and thrown into a village well to obstruct the investigation. The woman's family initiated a missing person report, which ultimately led police to Rajesh, who allegedly confessed during questioning. Recovery efforts for the body took several hours.
