In a shocking turn of events, a woman in Chakur town has been arrested for allegedly murdering her seven-year-old nephew. The accused, identified as Anita Swami, reportedly confessed to strangling the child and then fabricating a kidnapping story involving two young cousins, her nephew Devansh Swami and her own son Saicharan Swami.
Her motive, according to police, stemmed from distress over her husband's alleged extramarital affair. Swami sought to frame the woman involved with her husband by creating a false abduction narrative. The plan began to crumble when Saicharan, the older cousin, was found miles away and eventually admitted his mother had instructed him to lie about the kidnapping.
The initial alert came on Sunday morning when both boys went missing. Devansh's body was discovered later that afternoon near an old house. Saicharan was traced late into Sunday night, leading to his mother's eventual confession and arrest. Further investigations are ongoing.
